I’ve just reserved it at the library. Didn’t know if I was in the mood for Stephen King at the moment, but the reviews were good so I need to see what the fuss is about.
I've not read anything of his for years (decades!) but I saw the reviews for this, thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm very pleased I did. I'm not yet into the main plot, but, as he sets everything up, he's already demonstrating why he's one of the great story-tellers.

I like Stephen King in general though I find one or two books to be a little disappointing. But he's got a good conversational style and a real skill in building tension and drama. On two separate occasions I started reading his books and had to leave them behind due to space or weight limits. I had to go out and buy them when back in the UK just to read the last few chapters.
