I have to say, LL finally struck gold with those Linden homes after failing with previous themed communities. It really taps into what most SL users are looking for.

I have to say, LL finally struck gold with those Linden homes after failing with previous themed communities. It really taps into what most SL users are looking for.

My one complaint with the original Linden Homes was how they were just sort of, randomly scattered. I mean, It's all virtual, why do we need roads and neighborhoods? But people like that, they like a familiar aesthetic.

In the end, most people want an idealized version of RL in their SL. Play house, buy nice stuff, have pretty Barbie dolls and to be able to pixel bump. It is a simple formula. They leaned into that finally.

Every SL house I make has a bed, kitchen, and a toilet despite not needing to sleep, eat, or use the bathroom.

It seems weird sometimes honestly.

My first nothing of a prefab house I spent a lot of time customizing, including adding a closet to it. Which never had a single hanger.

The fact that Bellisseria has a covenant (that is quite good and enforced) adds a lot to the succes of it too IMO.
