Anybody found any good alternatives to Second Life?

NEOS - give it a shot. I need a slightly better GPU if I'm gonna use it regularly - a much better one if I am gonna use it as actual VR (and a proper HMD). From what I have seen of it? It's like a merger of bits from SL and VRC.

I tried using it with my crappy video card and it barely loaded. I was able to move around slightly which is very promising though -and I like that it doesn't need a headset.

I'll check it out again when I have a real card installed!

My problem with Neos - ironically - is it’s too furry. If you aren’t into those kinds of avatars or those kind of shanangains, you’ll find the community very lacking in diversity.

I’ve always loved the avatars, but it’s never been my preferred social crowd. A breath of fresh air and a few normal people is needed in the mix to keep my sanity.

I wish it had VRChat’s raw numbers. As a metaverse engine; Neos is far superior. It just has few people besides the friends of friends of devs.

Most furries are like fan fiction writers. They don't seem to percieve their fursonas as avatars of themselves in a virtual world but more as some kind of fanfic hero(ine). Good thing they are so obsessed with themselves that they don't percieve the rest of them is just as egocentric... well not all of them are, but sadly way to many are that way.

Nope. I'm talking about virtual and alternate reality. Second Life offers this. Greek mainstream media do, too.

I so want this, after watching the movie 7 times now, I can say this, it would be HELLA fun, plus I'm in my 40's no kids, no wife, lol, time to blast some noobs.
