With the official forum you just have to not pay attention to certain oldbie crackpots with axes to grind. Some members of "The Forum Cartel" are okay though.

Yeah, it's kind of like that. I was told to join by someone in SL who was surprised I wasn't already a member of the Hive Mind. I had thought that VVO was more for the REAL oldbies, oldbier than me. But look at me, I am the oldbie now.
