It's not even suggested by Microsoft. Let it die.

Our President was recently using production Edge to browse to a conferencing service that required a Chromium-based browser. It worked for me using Dev Edge, which is already Chromium, so I advised him to use "Google" in user terminology.

ETA: Yes Let IE Die Please

Long past due. I banned Internet Explorer at our workplace in the late '90s, after what wasn't yet called ActiveX made it a huge risk.

I can't stop using IE 11 until I've retired. It's the only browser that can reliably be used for editing Microsoft SharePoint 2013. About 50% of my work load involves that version of SharePoint. Another 30% of what I do is support O365 (SharePoint Online), which theoretically could be done with other browsers, but I do that work on a separate (Company name redacted)-network laptop, where I have no control over software and the company enforced default is IE11.

At home I use Edge, because I just can't get used to the look of Chrome. There's some quirk in the display of fonts that I find really displeasing. I have a vague memory that it's a deliberate bit of sabotage in the way PCs interact with Chrome, and that there's some configuration to get around it, but I just can't be bothered to look it up every time Chrome is updated.

I also keep a copy of IE11 handy at home because it's the only browser that still allows right-click > Properties to see an image URL. I'm sure there must be some other way to get this information on the newer browsers, but... old dogs.

Firefox has copy image location and Chrome has copy image address which can be pasted into the url bar or anywhere.

As a web dev ..... let it burn.

I once added a feature to a site that was asked for. In testing guess what happened? It worked in every browser except IE. IE did not throw an error or something, it simply did not work and the user was none the wiser that it should have been otherwise. I was asked to remove the feature.

In another thing I was asked to do something a bit nonstandard (well, at the time). Fortunately there was a way to do it in IE and everyone was happy. That is until MS removed the feature (without a good replacement existing) and people started asking me to put it back in their browsers.
