The Tenaja Fire burning near Murrieta in Riverside County has continued to be held, and its acreage has been amended to 1,926 acres. Containment has increased to 73 percent.
The Red Bank Fire in Tehama County west of Red Bluff has had its forward progress stopped, currently holding at 8,838 acres, while containment has improved to 50 percent according to Cal Fire. Some evacuations have been lifted.
The Lone Fire in central Modoc County has grown to 5,737 acres, while containment has increased to 55 percent.
The Walker Fire in Plumas County south of Susanville continues to attract a lot of attention as it has exploded in size to 38,049 acres. Containment remains at just five percent. Smoke from the fire is blanketing much of northern California and northwestern Nevada. Mandatory evacuations along US 395 are in effect.
A new fire to show up on the Cal Fire incident site, the Taboose Fire, is burning in the eastern Sierras in northwestern Inyo county. It is reported at 10,500 acres with ten percent containment. The fire was reported last Wednesday afternoon.

The Walker Fire burning in the Plumas National Forest has grown to 53,186 acres and is 95% contained.
