I got a WTF emoji for the above so I'll explain. It's a reference to Chappaquidick, where Mary Jo Kopechne died due to Ted Kennedy's negligence. A humor magazine of the time, National Lampoon made the fake ad above. Robert Kennedy isn't the first to soil the family name.

Yes, I'm well acquainted with Chappaquidick, tyvm. The context of where the ad came from, however, wasn't at all clear in the posting. My WTF was directed at the source, not the incident. That it came from National Lampoon explains a lot. No one ever accused them of good taste. As burns go, this is definitely 3rd degree.
