Some poll porn that must poke Trump awfully hard (it's a Fox News poll).

The Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket is ahead of the Donald Trump-Mike Pence ticket by a 51-46 percent margin. That 5 percentage-point advantage sits right at the margin of sampling error of the latest Fox News survey, taken after the Democratic and Republican national conventions.
But even better:
Over 6 in 10 think Biden has the compassion to serve effectively as president (62 percent) and just over half say he has the mental soundness (51 percent). Just over half think Trump lacks the compassion (54 percent) and mental soundness (51 percent).
A majority don't think Trump has the mental soundness. Yup.

BARELY a majority believe this. What is wrong with people?
Anne Applebaum suggests that some people are pretty much cut off from the fact-based world, and now live inside the virtual reality of TrumpLand:

Even people who can smell the smoke have trouble gauging relative dangers. In the town of Mollala, Oregon, an hour south of Portland, some residents were so afraid of “antifa” and the “far left”—members of which they have never met, but whom they have seen and heard about on television and online—that they refused to leave their houses, even when authorities called for evacuation. “We’re staying put,” one resident told The New York Times, “and watching for people who aren’t supposed to be here.” He defined that category as “crowds of looters out of Portland.” And there we have it: Mythical looters and mythical anarchists are now more frightening to some people than an actual forest fire

Just re-reading some posts, and I noticed the massive fall in undecided voters. Of those remaining 7% - if they're undecided by this time, there's no hope - I doubt that enough of them will actually vote to sway the balance.

They've told us since the beginning that Trump was polarizing. Now I think we see it in the numbers.

Most polls are only asking about Trump and Biden. Expect about 4% total for Greens, Libertarians, and Vanity (Kanye West) votes.
